Drei Fachjurys w\u00e4hlen dann aus allen Einsendungen die Beitr\u00e4ge aus, die auf dem Medienfestival pr\u00e4sentiert werden sowie die j\u00e4hrlichen Preistr\u00e4gerarbeiten. Wie und wo die Beitr\u00e4ge entstehen, bleibt den TeilnehmerInnen \u00fcberlassen. Sie k\u00f6nnen an speziell f\u00fcr die VISIONALE LEIPZIG angebotenen Medienworkshops teilzunehmen. Wer nicht genau wei\u00df, wie man einen Film dreht oder ein H\u00f6rspiel produziert, der kann dies in den Workshops von den Medienprofis lernen. Die Workshops finden \u00fcber das Jahr verteilt in Form von Ferienangeboten und anderen Kursen in Leipzig statt. Alle G\u00e4ste und TeilnehmerInnen bekommen hier die M\u00f6glichkeit, die ausgew\u00e4hlten Beitr\u00e4ge anzuschauen, auszuprobieren oder anzuh\u00f6ren. Ein Rahmenprogramm aus Workshops und Informationsst\u00e4nden komplettiert das Festivalangebot.
